Suddenly you’ve got a lot of time on your hands, but that doesn’t mean that everything that pops into your head to occupy said time is a good idea!<\/p>

Here are the top 5 things you should NOT do while quarantined. Click the video below or read on for more information.<\/p>

1. Put Down the Scissors down. Sure, your hair is growing long and you’re looking more and more like Big Foot every day. But cutting your own hair can really end in disaster. Unless you have had experience before, it’s best to embrace your man bun or you can go all Nick Cannon and opt for the turban route. No one will judge you.<\/p>

2. Step away from the oven. Okay, obviously, you want to cook. Cooking more of your meals is actually a really good thing. But don’t go overboard and burn your kitchen down trying to emulate some YouTuber’s DIY Baked Alaskan. It’s a waste of perfectly good ingredients.<\/p>

3. Do not harass your ex. Received a “How are you doing? Ok?” Text recently from someone from your past? You’re not alone. Apparently a lot of folks are being contacted by exes under the guise of concern. Maybe you were even thinking of reaching out. Nope. Don’t do it. Let sleeping dogs lie and sign up for one of the dating apps instead.<\/p>

4. Do not start a podcast. Everyone is starting a podcast right now about life during quarantine. Unless you have a super compelling idea, it may be better to channel your creative energy elsewhere.<\/p>

5. Do not binge. Food, television, exercise. Too much of anything is bad for you. The key to getting through the quarantine in tact is balance. So, break your day up! Wake up at a reasonable time, get work done, stop working at a reasonable time, get some fresh air, go to bed at a reasonable time – notice a pattern here?<\/span><\/p>
